Employee Relations Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement activities for employee engagement and satisfaction at the highest level.
• Ensure compliance with any legal or regulatory changes pertaining to labor, wage and hour, and employment laws.
• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.
• Provide high value expertise to line and HR partners to meet strategic business needs and to support the strategic people plan.
• Design and partner on the implementation of core HR processes and programs, communicated to other departments successfully and in alignment with guideline.
• Administers and interprets various labor agreements, administers grievance procedures; provides labor relations support during contract negotiations.
• Facilitates Employee Survey, working closely with Leadership team to develop specific action plans, leading focus group process, ensuring ongoing communication and measuring progress to goals.
• Support the leadership in the business and the employees in making sure performance management is properly administered. Provide guidance to employees and managers in the performance management process.
• Acts as a liaison between department managers and union representatives.

HR Business Partner

• Partner with the Operations management to provide consultancy and useful support on human resource- related issues that are aligned with expectation and business objectives.
• Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
• Support functional management to develop the organizational capability and resources required to enable delivery of business strategy.
• Assist with planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of labor relations, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, diversity, and compensation programs.

1. Academic background:
• Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field as Business Administration/Law/Labor Administration

2. Job experience
• 5+ years related human resources or recent graduate who specialized in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

3. Skills
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English
• Possesses mentoring, training and project management skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
• Strong customer focus and orientation.
• Good leadership, team building, facilitation, relationship building and consultation skills.
