Mô tả công việc
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for the review, development, implementation and monitoring of the Esquel Vietnam management systems, to ensure the safety of employees, visitors and contractors, in line with Esquel Group current Health and Safety and associated with local and applicable international legislation. This post also has responsibility for the line management of the CSR/EHS officer.
• Review and develop all aspects of company’s EHS policy and activity, and ensure that it is implemented consistently across the group
• Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming EHS legislation and ensure that the Company has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance
• Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in the management of Health and Safety within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audits
• Develop of EHS regulation and procedures to compliance with Vietnamese law and company standards
• Discuss areas for improvement with relevant staff and/or external bodies and agree appropriate corrective action.
• Manage fire risk assessments according to an agreed schedule and in line with legal requirements
• Liaise with HR to conduct and monitor health surveillance according to legal requirement. Maintain appropriate records
• Provide affected employees with comprehensive and relevant information and training on Health and Safety systems and procedures, including advising on equipment purchase and workplace practices.
• Ensure that appropriate records are maintained in compliance with legal requirements

Yêu cầu ứng viên
University degree- Preferably Major in Environment or Industrial Engineering OR more than 5 year experience in handling Labor/EHS issues in Garment/Footwear factories.
• Lead auditor/auditor of ISO 14001 or OHSAS18000 is preferable
• 3-5 year experience in handling EHS system.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, and Vietnamese
