Reports To: Functional report to API EHS Leader and Direct Report to Country General Manager
1. Job summary:
- Promote employees on occupational health and safety awareness;
- Compliance with legal Obligations;
- Support for department;
- Accident investigation and prevention;
- Training;
- Work environment;
- Proactive monitoring;
- Communication;
- Domestic travelling is required to support C&C projects, 40% of time - Strategic EHS AOP planning and work plan A3.
2. Duties & Responsibilities:
* Promote employees on occupational health and safety awareness:
- To implement safety and help activities in order to increase the employee participation on safety matters and safety awareness e.g. S&H exhibition, S&H suggestion, S&H motto contest, etc.
- Continually conduct and improve S&H activities to ensure that all staff aware working safely on their responsibility.
- Advise management on safety improvement program with continuously.
- Maintain EHS committee for Trane VNM & organize committee meeting with direct coordination.
- Conduct and lead strategic planning with local leadership team and establish annual AOPm and A3 work plan.
* Compliance with legal obligations:
- To advise and assist the management, head of department and other persons involved in planning, organizing, controlling and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for work and study.
- To develop the area safety and health policy, organization and arrangements in consultation with managers and staff.
- To implement safety and health procedures and develop local work procedures to comply with legal obligation.
- To review and develop the area safety and health management plan and communicate the plan at all level.
- Maintain the area risk register, and ensure that risk assessments are completed for all activities with significant risks.
* Support for department:
- To advise and support the safety and health committee, in making sure that the committee takes ownership of the area safety and health management plan
- To seek support and work closely with all department on safety and health matter
- To advise head of department in ensuring that their area has key staff appointed to carry out the health and safety functions e.g. risk identification and assessment
- Frequent domestic travelling to provide EHS support to C&C projects
Accident investigation and prevention:
- To receive and investigate reports of accidents, dangerous occurrences and fire damage, determine their causes and make recommendations for improving recurrence prevention and controls.
- To monitor that all accident are properly investigated by concerned persons and that lessons learnt are shared across the area and with their department.
- To maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences.
- To provide statistical summaries to the area safety and health committee and draw attention to significant trends and occurrences.
* Training:
- To identify the training needs of staff and liaise with managers to nominate staff for training courses.
- To conduct the training as per training needs and safety corporate requirement including to ensure that comply on legal requirement.
- To monitor staff training, and report on training targets to the management and department head.
- Ensure that staff and students are inducted, as per the safety procedure on induction and training.
* Work environment:
- Ensure fire arrangements are maintained in good order and fire drills are carried out on all their premises.
- Monitor and evaluation the potential hazard on working area or coordinate with authority department to conduct the monitoring program.
* Proactive monitoring:
- Prepare and coordinate the safety and health audit, and the audit process. Monitor that audit recommendations are being implemented within agreed timescales.
- Monitor safety performance through internal audits and develop the line supervisor proactive reporting system.
* Communication:
- Prepare and coordinate the safety and health audit, and the audit process. Monitor that audit recommendations are being implemented within agreed timescales.

- Develop a range communication medium e.g. S&H newsletter, S&H display board, S&H column on intranet etc. to ensure that managers and staff are kept up to date with health and safety matters.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or other technical field;
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position and functions in multinational company;
- Good command of all English skills;
- Good analytical, training & organizing skill;
- Experience in the professional field of Health, Safety & Environment in Construction or M&E industry;
- Confident in dealing with related Health, Safety & Environment matters
