EHS Officer

This position will work with Beckers Vietnam team and report directly to General Operations Manager, functional report to Global EHS Director.

Your responsibilities and deliverables:
- To assist Manager-Production to prepare, organize, execute & train the following plan:
a) Site Emergency Plan
b) Disaster Recovery Plan
c) BeckersVietnam safety rules & regulations
- To set up & train the emergency response team.
- To assist Manager-Production to prepare Environmental Management System (ISO 14000)
- To assist Manager-Production to prepare Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18000)
- To assist Manager-Production to prepare Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA)
- To ensure the fire fighting equipments & facilities are checked & maintained monthly & quarterly.
- To prepare & train Safe Job Procedures (SJP).
- To ensure & train production staffs adhere to good safety.
- To ensure the environment complied with Vietnam Environmental Laws.
- To ensure quarterly & yearly environmental measurement and prepare monthly report submit to local authority

- University degree in Chemical or Environment Engineering or comparable
- Good knowledge & understanding of Vietnam Environmental Laws
- Minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience in a medium size manufacturing operation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and successfully complex information; Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
