EHS Engineer (Salary: 13,000,000 VND for Fresh Graduate)

1. Job purpose:
- Ensure the NSG EHS policy and Viet Nam legislation is implemented in the company.
- Monitor the contractors with their compliance of company safety regulations.
- Make daily site safety and environment patrol and observation consisting of hazard identification, unsafe working conditions, unsafe behaviour for recommendations of corrective actions to employees, contractors.
- Develop and implement EHS training programs to all employees and contractors.
- Attend in develop and implement safety training and awareness program in line with company objectives.
- Attend in daily production meeting to report and share safety matters.

2. Job Principle Accountabilities
- Responsible to enforce and implement overall VGI EHS policy and guidelines at all times.
- Responsible to identify potential hazard within the premises and report such hazard potential and corrective action to the EHS Manager and related Departments.
- To conduct daily EHS audit and to complete daily inspection report and forward to the EHS Manager.
- To educate and promote awareness among VGI employees on safety, health and environment aspects through discussion, education, and enforcement of safety regulations.
- To conduct incident, accident investigation and when necessary with aims to develop corrective actions and identify causes.
- To review all factory procedures, practices, operational steps may affect the Safety, Health and Environment of VGI’s employee or the local environment.
- To provide support and assistance for the other departments to establish safe working environment.
- To ensure all fire exit, alarm system, exit way and necessary evacuation route is identified clearly and sufficient signs for evacuation.
- Responsible to inspect firefighting equipment and ensure proper maintenance and validity of such facilities.
- Responsible to review machinery and equipment used for operations to ensure safety level, safety certification etc. These include the development of standard operating procedure in conjunction with Dept/Section Supervisors.
- To prepare daily / weekly/ monthly reports as requested by the EHS Manager.
- Undertake other tasks and responsibilities given by the EHS Manager.
- Attend all activities in the company.
- Implement requirements of the management system (ISO 14001, 9001), monitoring results and drive actions to ensure sustainable system.
