Position description

1. Chemical Use Management

a. Review and approve all chemical use requests
b. Perform regulatory and toxicity assessments of all requested chemicals to determine use restrictions (i.e. determine carcinogenicity potential, reproductive toxicity, highly toxic materials, ozone depleting substance, Hazardous Air Pollutants, Volatile Organic Compounds, etc.).
c. Facilitate the process to assess potential environmental impacts of requested chemical use.
d. Ensure requested chemical use is in compliance with the Intel Chemical Use Guideline and the Intel Restricted Chemical Use List.
e. Determine and document EHS controls necessary to safely handle and process requested chemicals including PPE requirements, ventilation requirements, storage requirements and waste disposal requirements.

2. Industrial Hygiene Compliance Assessment

a. Understand and ensure compliance with local EHS regulations and Intel Standards on all Industrial Hygiene expectation
b. Conduct industrial hygiene exposure assessment such as air quality, noise, radiation etc. and work environment monitoring as required by law and Intel standards
c. Complete periodic assessment of program health and formulate action plans to support continuous improvement for industrial hygiene programs (self-assessments, compliance audits, maintaining all necessary documentation, etc).
3. Collaborate with site management, site stakeholders, and/or Corporate EHS where needed to drive performance improvements
4. Support local regulatory/Intel specific training where necessary to Intel employees/contingent workers

Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills):

� Bachelor of Science degree related to Industrial Hygiene, or Chemistry.
� Good command of English and communications
� Familiarity with the scientific method of data gathering and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

� Master of Science degree related to Industrial Hygiene, or Chemistry.
� CIH (Certified IH) certification or equivalent
� Proficient in English and communications
� Proficient in data analytic, detail oriented and organized
