Director, Supply Chain Operations Management

General responsibilities:
Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient allocation of resources, where applicable
Formulate Group-wide distribution center strategies, policies and processes with local Supply Chain Management to optimize warehouse capacity, enhance productivity and minimize costs
Provide advice and direction on the optimization of intra-warehouse processes and material flows, including warehouse layout, sizing, materials storage and handling systems
Formulate Group-wide distribution center performance measures. Lead regular reviews with local team to ensure progress and alignment towards overall goals
Initiate and lead Group-wide distribution center efficiency initiatives/projects to optimize distribution center operations as well as customer satisfaction levels
Oversee the implementation of distribution center operations throughout the Group to ensure warehouse is compliant with good documentation practice (GDP), good manufacturing practice (GMP), quality standards and local regulations
Design, manage and monitor the execution of development programs (including train-the-trainer) to transfer knowledge and best practices on distribution center operations
Provide technical and leadership support to local distribution center operations including KPI review, best practices, issue resolution, distribution center optimization
Collaborate with cross functional team (e.g. Sales, Client Management, etc.) to ensure seamless and effective supply chain operations to support client and customer solutions
Leadership responsibilities:
Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set
Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Supply Chain and DKSH behaviors to achieve team/function goals
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Supply Chain Management and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning

Functional skills and knowledge:
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain management
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of distribution centers, distribution and warehouses
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
Proven experience in managing supply chains in a multinational and cross-border environment
Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain best practices and standards
Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or other related field Work experience
Minimum five to eight years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum three to five years’ experience in a managerial capacity

- 13 monthly salary + Performance bonus
