Director of Security

• Responsible for the risk management program to anticipate, recognize, identify, plan and reduce to manageable proportions all security, safety and health risks, threats and hazards.
• Designs and implements security plans, policies and procedures by regular reviews and updating of existing policies and procedures.
• Ensure effective posting of contracted security, maintain good working relationship with contract security management and associates.
• Record management to ensure systematic record keeping (e.g. maintenance records; work orders; contractor registration, etc.)
• Ensure continuing training and development of all associates.
• Anticipate and plan for various emergency situations.
• Responsible for hotel occupational safety to support the HR in developing and driving the hotel occupational safety program.
• Responsible for food safety and hygiene, to support the F&B department and implementation of hygiene policy and procedures.
• Access control; prevent unauthorized, unlawful or unwelcome access into the hotel or within restricted areas within hotel.
• Compliment the hotel’s guest service efforts in delivering superior service to all hotel guest, patrons and visitors
• Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs
