The Director of Sales for BB Hotel SaPa is responsible for selling the total hotel room, events, food and beverage and should always keep focused on motivating the sales team, train sales personel and achieve goals and objectives through sales solicitation. Supervise revenue management to ensure proper pricing, appropriate transient and group mix and implementation of sales strategy
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manning: To plan the Sales & Marketing Manpower Budget for all hotels and resorts. Ensure timely recruitment per hiring profiles.
2. Training: To conduct training programmes for property and regional Sales Teams to provide a consistent approach to selling and increasing their confidence, motivation and loyalty.
3. Sales Team /Office Set up: Detail the setup of each sales office in terms of manpower, equipment, collateral and other support to ensure efficient functioning from that location. To specify individual roles, responsibilities, actions, reporting and all such details to enable smooth routine functioning of the office.
4. Budgeting: To plan and/ or review the Room Revenue Budget and sales & marketing budget for each hotel and resort. Ensure that all budgets and planned activities are in line with targeted achievements.
5. Market evaluation and Segregation: To gather and evaluate market intelligence specific to business requirement. To segment the market per available and forecast business opportunity. To strategize sales efforts such that Sales Teams are properly focused and organized to achieve desired results.
6. Responsibility distribution and Allocation of Targets: Define performance requirements of each Sales Team Member and allocate targets based on market potential.
7. Implementing Standard Reporting Process: Introduce and Implement all standard reporting and monitoring processes. Train individual Team Members for correct understanding and alignment with standard systems to be followed.
8. Revenue Management Meeting: Introduce and implement the Revenue Management Process. Evaluate data generated by Sales Teams and assist with strategic thought to focus efforts and enable achievements.
9. Performance Monitoring and Inputs: To monitor the performance of the Sales Team individually, guide, train and motivate to accelerate activities to achieve the targets.
10. Periodic performance /personal reviews: To impartially evaluate and review the performance of the Sales Team and guide, train and motivate and promote accordingly.
11. Expenditure Monitoring of budgets: To monitor the sales expenditure budgets and ensure proper usage of the funds allocated for sales activities.
12. Promotional Activities and Tie ups: Work with marketing communications team as well as appropriate concerned at the property level to identify sales and marketing opportunities and to develop the relevant support platforms in terms of collateral, promotions, production to help drive added awareness and demand for each property.
13. Coordinate with Marketing:
a. To ensure an effective communications and information systems.
b. To give updates on activities in the hotel to our guests, clients as well as employees for the properties.
c. To ensure that the brand identity for each brand is adhering to based on the brand standard.
14. Revenue & Distribution Responsibilities:
a. Review and recommend relevant pricing structures and inventory allocations in cooperation with sales & marketing leaders and property General Managers.
b. Manage 3rd party websites for Property.
c. Controlling rate and inventory on a daily basis
d. Tracking competitor rates and inventory.
e. Suggesting rates and strategies for online business .
f. Checking and managing guest feedback with the property leaders
g. Managing our online presence including social networking – facebook, twitter.
h. Working and coordinating with BBG Corporate Marketing and individual agencies on implementation questionnaire and content for both websites and booking engines.

At least Bachelor degree in any field
