Director of Finance

I- JOB SUMMARY

• Driving the financial planning of the group by analyzing its performance and risks
• Retaining constant awareness of the group’s financial position and acting to prevent problems
• Responsible for the efforts, results, and success of an organization’s finance department. Provides financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions.

II- JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

• Oversee financial operations of the group and its subsidiaries.
• Provide leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimize the group’s financial performance and strategic position
• Contribute fully to the development of group strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• To participate as a member of management and advise on the financial, administrative and legal implications of all matters being reviewed.
• Develop annual financial plans and projections for the group
• Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives
• To develop and maintain orderly accounting systems and participate in regulating the generally accepted accounting standards.
• Strictly, adhere to established internal control systems within the group to make the financial data reliable.
• Corporate finance: manage group policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate.
• Allot funds for capital projects and work with the BOD to ensure they stay on track financially
• To prepare cash and fund flow including planning for cash management.
• To approve of all cash disbursements. Before denoting his approval, the Director of Finance should ensure that all disbursements are properly documented and executed.
• To ensure that all tax matters are treated in a proper manner and in compliance with related legislation.
• To prepare financial statistical-data reports to highlight to management all aspects of the group’s operating and accounting systems, internal control, etc. on a timely basis or on requisition.
• Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports to be submitted to the BOD.

B- CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Graduate in Accounting
• 3 to 4 years demonstrated accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality or food and beverage environment and quality with a background that includes forecasting and budgeting
