Director of Finance - Asia

Discova is looking for their next superstar to join their senior leadership team as Director of Finance.

This position will function at an operational level and have financial oversight over 11+ countries in a multi-market business, working multiple currencies, across different time zones in a complex financial structure.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the senior leaders in achieving long term sustainable growth and profit for our business with the ability to work strategically and tactically and driving a high performing team.

You will be responsible for:

Budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, cash flow and profit and loss reporting.
Oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, tax compliance and payroll.
Working through issues sch as transfer pricing, principle and agent, indirect taxes, working capital management, and foreign exchange with the support of internal and external experts.
The financial health, well-being, controls and risk management, and reporting across the region.
Consistently conduct reviews with Department heads to review business performance in relation to Budget, Forecast and Prior year results.
Ensuring a strong culture of financial control within the global business and work closely with operations and finance experts to ensure business risks are mitigated.
Oversight of monthly consolidation, Internal Management reporting, Head office Financial Reporting packs and disclosures are recorded accurately in accordance with IFRS and adheres to tight monthly deadlines.

About you
The Essentials:

Minimum 5 years of financial leadership experience in a financial complex, multicurrency environment.
CA or CPA is required.
Big 4 experience a plus.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
