Unit: Continuous Training Center

Job description: The Continuing Training Center of Hong Bang International University is assigned by the University to conduct short-term training programs in health sciences, social sciences, economic sciences and management economics.

The Director of the Center will be responsible for:
-   Developing, submitting to the Board of Presidents for approval and organizing the implementation of comprehensive center development programs and plans in line with the University development strategy.
-   Planning and developing programs and contents of training and retraining of knowledge in health sciences, social sciences, technical sciences, economic management, accounting and business administration for individuals in need.
-   Organizing enrollment according to the plans. Signing contracts for training and retraining in knowledge of health sciences, social sciences, technical sciences, economic management, accounting and business administration with organizations in need. Signing affiliate contracts with eligible organizations.
-   Acting as a focal point for implementing programs of training and retraining in health sciences, technical sciences, economic management and business administration as authorized by the University.
-   Making teaching plans, coordinating lecturers in service of teaching. Organizing the management of the learning and fostering process in order to ensure quality and efficiency; Researching to improve the content, programs and teaching methods in order to improve the training quality and reputation of the Center.
-   Enhancing the exploitation of revenue from training and retraining activities. Organizing the income and expenditure activities in accordance with the rules, financial management regimes of the law and the regulations on decentralization of autonomy for the Center according to the President's decision.
-   Being the grassroots level managing personnel of the Center and the focal point for individuals who are related to the University and its units. Proposing needs and coordinating with functional units, participating in the recruitment process of the Center in accordance with current regulations.
-   Coordinating with functional units in training and retraining to improve professional skills for lecturers and staffs of the Center.
-   Managing and effectively using the assigned labor force and assets as prescribed.
-   Reporting periodic and irregular work to the Board of Presidents
-   Performing other tasks as required by the Board of Presidents

Qualifications & Training Certificates:
-   Master’s degree or above
-   Certificates related to the applied position

Skills & Experience:
-   Preferred: candidates with at least 2-year working experience at the same position
-   English proficiency: fluent
-   Computer skills: Proficient use of office computing applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point,…)
-   Other(s): leadership skills
