Position Objective
Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA) is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the broad and comprehensive integrated marketing, external marketing communications, events program and sales strategy with the purpose of ensuring that ISHCMC continues to attract (and convert) new joiner students for recruitment.
The DMA leads and mentors the Admissions and Marketing teams as part of the support functions of the School, reporting to the Head of School and Managing Director of Operations. The DMA works collaboratively across functions and teams within the wider school community (in particular the academic team, in addition to other support functions such as finance, HR, IT, facilities and communications), adding value as a leader beyond just their functional expertise.

Scope of duties include but is not limited to:
Admissions
1. Recruit students and families to ISHCMC demonstrating and providing evidence of student outcomes and supporting them (and the school) to better understand how that they will benefit from our programs
2. Lead the Admissions team, ensuring growth and progression as appropriate, while maintaining a stable team of core members; ensure Admissions policies and processes and customer service requirements are followed; Distribute workload across the Admissions Team.
3. Continually improve existing systems and processes; develop new systems and processes to support admissions growth for all Cognita Vietnam schools
4. Work closely with the Academic Leadership Team to ensure that the Admissions team is regularly updated on the program; regularly update the Academic Leadership Team on market trends and applications so as to consider adjustments to the program
5. Organize interviews and meetings, communicate through emails, etc. with foreign and Vietnamese prospective parents and companies to promote enrolment
6. Regularly connect with companies and relocation agents to foster relationships to promote growth for all Cognita Vietnam schools
7. Maintain and provide a regular reporting system for regional & local management on enrolment performance
8. Ensure Admissions team follow the procedures for data entry into the school’s Student Management Systems
9. Work with the Head of School, Section Heads, and School Counselors in managing Admission records, withdrawals and other related tasks.
Strategic and Tactical Marketing
1. In line with the new strategic direction, develop a comprehensive multi-channel prospective parent marketing program which supports effective customer engagement, retention and parent advocacy.
2. Manage the execution of the new marketing strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the School’s strategic objectives, building on the School’s reputation both in Vietnam and overseas markets.
3. Working with the Head of Marketing and Communications, identify new markets from which to recruit pupils including on-island and off-island focused initiatives to drive enrolment.
4. Analyze and respond to trends in the education sector and monitor competitor performance to ensure strategies can adapt.
5. Keep abreast of digital developments and initiate ongoing upskill opportunities for the team. Oversee the Head of Marketing and Communications to efficiently manage digital partner relationships, performance and accountability of the digital strategy which is a key contributor to quality lead generation.
6. Make full use of CRM data to drive smart marketing decisions and improve ROI.
7. Work with the Marketing team to maintain and develop website content which is current, engaging and differentiated in line with the Brand vision, values and the school value proposition.
8. Working with the Marketing team, digital and IT partners to enhance UX and increase online web conversations
9. Build and deliver branded marketing campaigns mixing traditional and digital media, ensuring key messages are consistently delivered.
10. Manage the School’s PR strategy to reinforce brand and value proposition.
11. Work closely with the Admissions team to understand specific demands and trends in order to align marketing strategy with key admissions objectives. Support events for prospective parents and work with the Admissions team to identify additional opportunities to collaborate with third parties.
Community Liaison as required
1. Maintain effective working relationships within the internal (parent and teacher community) and with external (local and overseas) associates.
2. Attend networking events to extend our influence beyond the school; in particular the Chambers of Commerce such as AmCham, EuroCham, BBGV, KoCham and InCham.
3. Liaise with important community groups i.e. Consulate Generals, Corporate clients, Relocation Agencies, Cultural Representative Group, PTO etc.
4. Liaise with corporate partners and sponsors to leverage relationships that benefit the strategic goals of the School
Role within The School Organization
1. Attend Management & staff meetings, PTO meetings, and school events as needed
2. Advise the Head Of School, Managing Director, and Head of Marketing on observations about academics within the school, through statistical reporting, local and job knowledge.
3. Address any other matter related to the position as may be requested by the Head of School or the Managing Director from time to time.

Qualifications
· Can be expat or local
· Bachelor or Master degree in marketing, communications or relevant major in the area of expertise
· 10 years of experience in sales management, execution and oversight. Brand and integrated marketing experience and leadership is an advantage.
· This role requires an individual with 10+ years’ sales & marketing management experience
· Experience of working in an international school is an advantage
