THE ROLE
Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategy, planning and online marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, consideration and student enrolment growth for RMIT Vietnam. The role requires a good understanding of target audience behaviour on different online platforms and a rich experience to implement marketing campaigns on such platforms like Facebook, Google display, Google search, Instagram and other traditional online news channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and monitor digital strategy and tactics for online marketing communications in line with Strategic Marketing Plan for the purpose of driving awareness, consideration and student enrolment growth for RMIT University Vietnam
Develop content planning and strategy for all online platforms, for prospective students and parents, ensuring the content across different platforms, aligns consistently with the key communication frameworks.
Conception, setup, launch, monitoring and optimization for online student recruitment campaigns (mostly on Facebook and Display adsets) to generate leads and increase conversion rates. Some campaigns need coordination with Internal/External Communication team and RMIT Hanoi marketing team to optimize the effectiveness in term of resources and budgets.
Lead the activation for RMIT’s Postgraduate (PG) programs through online channels to maximize program awareness and drive consideration. Duties include:
- Develop monthly content plan for PG social fan page, in coordination with Marketing team in HN campus and with the English Senior Writer to ensure a good engagement rate
- Drive specific online campaigns for PG by strengthening awareness and generate new leads
- Nurture leads in database at key milestones to increase conversion rates
Hands-on analysis and manipulation of data to continuously improve conversion rates and ROI
Update competitor’s digital marketing activities on a monthly basic.
Develop SEO/SEM plan, in working with Marketing Web manager, to drive traffic to landing page.
Supervise and coach direct reports to ensure successful fulfillment of their responsibilities

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
A bachelor degree in Marketing or relevant fields
At least 5 years’ experience in planning, implementing and monitoring online marketing plan and strategy.
In-depth knowledge and experience of various social media platforms (Facebook Ads required), website analytics, SEO-SEM, other display experience is a plus
Strong content development skill of multi digital platform (Facebook, PR online, Instagram…).
Ability to supervise the work of other writers in the digital team.
Ability to analyse and present data
Proven ability to make data-supported recommendations.
Experience in people management and effective management of stakeholders to enable them to effectively run online campaigns
Up-to-date knowledge on the latest trends, technologies in digital marketing along with best practices
Ability to effectively prioritise and deliver against multiple deadlines
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
If English is not your native language then you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency standard at a BULATS Advanced level (BULATS score 75), equivalent to IELTS (General) 6.5. RMIT Vietnam will require you to complete a BULATS test to assess your level of English before an offer of employment can be made.
