Development and Quality Production Leader (Fabric - Textile Background)

Our components are one of the MOST technical processes in the textile industry with many processes like water- repellency, coating, lamination, hydrophilic...

Your Responsibilities are:
• Be responsible for my Fabric Supplier Management (Human, Quality & Environment assessment)
• Manage along with my supplier the developments of fabric's range (Woven Natural/Blended Fabric)
• Stay aware of all innovative fabrics & new process
• Negotiate price twice a year based on industrial approach and cost analysis
• Communicate and pass on my strong technical know-how.
• Ensure that the fabric of my supplier is developed on time & at the right quality
• Make sure all colors are developed for each season (lab-dip, first bulk etc…)
• Follow closely by testing & inspecting my fabrics in order to respect Decathlon Technical Specifications
• Assist my supplier on Continuous Improvement
• Located in Ho Chi Minh city, your responsibilities are linked to one supplier where you have to be 3 days/week.
• Frequent business trip within Vietnam and potential trip to France
