*** Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct shoe engineering.
• Be fully involved in shoe engineering in the Development/ Commercialization process within a specific range of products.
• Ensure product is developed to cost targets. Work collaboratively with Vendors, T2, and UK colleagues to optimize value/cost ratio.
• Ensure all samples are executed as per the Brand’s requirements and specifications as well as making sure that they are delivered on time.
*** Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Product:
• Ensures all products are developed and engineered in accordance with the design and specification requirements detailed by UK design team while maintaining an emphasis on performance, comfort, aesthetics, and integrity.
2. Operations:
• Updates all development tracking reports including samples, tooling, materials delivery etc.
• Has a good understanding of supplier timelines (eg. molds, lasts, components delivery) and plans projects with respect to these timelines.
• Daily review of SRF (Special request form) and products with the factory team. Ensure all issues are highlighted and resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
• Regular contact by phone or email with the UK design and development team to ensure that they are kept fully up to date with their projects.
• Provide technical input into projects to ensure that the Brand supplies premium quality footwear to its customers.
• Ensure that Brand standards for fit and comfort are achieved during product development, commercialization and production.
• Conduct detailed risk analysis on all products. Ensure that any products or materials considered to be a risk are properly checked against the Brand Testing standards.
• Ensure all projects are developed to meet the critical paths for development and production.
• Assists in the timely delivery of samples at all stages of development; thoroughly inspects samples to ensure they meet required quality standards; co-ordinates necessary shipping documentation.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• At least 3 years product development experience. Preferable with Sports and casual shoe engineering experience
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft Office ,Excel , PowerPoint)
• Blueprint reading
• Pattern making
• Knowledge of Mandarin would be useful but not essential
