Scope of Work
The Designer will report directly to the Communications Director and will lead the creation and distribution of all digital and printed graphic materials and photography.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Designer’s duties and responsibilities include:
• Overseeing all graphic design, photography, and typographic output;
• Designing both internal and public-facing materials for use by Fulbright University Vietnam.
Other Duties
Contribute to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Experience
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
• Experience working in advertising/media/design
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent Vietnamese and English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Full capability in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Working knowledge of website and UX design; and Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Strong typography, composition, and color skills
• Ability to be both analytical and creative
• Willingness to refine designs in detail
• Ability to work well in a team and independently and feel most comfortable in a highly collaborative environment that demands a high degree of adaptability while maintaining the utmost quality of work
• Strong alignment with Fulbright’s educational mission and a passion for education
• Familiarity in working with outside vendors and ordering print production materials
• Photography skills preferred
