Design Manager

- Reporting to Design Director
- Manages a team of designers from project inception through completion,
- Design and manage architectural and master planning projects,
- Ensures the drawings and designs are completed on time and adhere to the established specifications and standards,
- Be able to prepare project schedules, bids, or proposals,
- Negotiate and conclude fees with the consultants for the full cost of the design and associated work involved the projects,
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs,
- Identify project risks and solutions to mitigate risks,
- Assessment of potential developments to ensure the suitability of the product for the construction and vice versa,
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets,
- In liaison with other Departments in the company, ensure fees and services budgets, appraisals, cost plans and liabilities are prepared to ensure the project meets Company’s financial criteria and ensuring variances to budget are reported,
- Ensure the most economic and effective use of resources and the completion of design projects in line with target timescales,
- Provide management with regular project updates/weekly concise and comprehensive report,
- Maintain consultant/ owner relationship.

- A bachelor's degree in area of specialty (engineering, MEP design…)
- Advanced knowledge of AUTO CAD (REVIT) is a must. BIM 360 is a plus
- Typically requires 5-7 year experience in the related area as an individual contributor
- Excellent communication, presentation skills
- Language: English
- High sense of responsibility, honesty, self-motivated and hard working
