Design Engineer- Electrical

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulatory body Rules and Regulations requirements.
• >3 years relevant experience & experience in Drafting within the Marine Industry

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proficient in the Electrical Design software (including circuit design & testing, performance assessment), Autocad and Microsoft office suite.
• Vessels design in accordance with technical requirements (Specification, contract and relevant rules).
• AC/DC load analysis, short circuit calculation, battery calculation and cable selection knowledge.
• Technical knowledge of Electrical products.
• Preparation of drawings including cable layout, cable penetrations, lightings arrangement
• Electrical design support for production.
• Interfaces with other design disciplines for equipment and system information.
• Provides as-built drawings using workshop and vessel feedback.
• Be skilled in 3D modelling.
• Interest in the Marine Industry.
