Design and Production - Print

Hubbis has an immediate opening for the newly created position of Design and Production.

This position will require an individual who is able to move quickly through projects and the ability to multi-task with extreme attention to detail. This position has freedom and creative liberty but must follow protocol and work within strict deadlines.

The role will work with the team to layout all Hubbis content including magazines, publications, brochures, event agendas and websites. Most content is internally created, and the role of production layout is to ensure the content is also visually interesting.

This is a fast-paced role within a busy organisation, so attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload should be excellent. This includes the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to work unsupervised as well as providing support to others within the team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Computer skills and experience with Adobe InDesign
• Ability to follow a process in order to produce print-ready files
• Ability to upload content to the website using in-house publishing software
• Capable of manipulating design properties such as font, spacing, type size, column width and placement
• Able to work to deadlines
• Able to create template processes to reduce repetitive tasks
• Excellent attention to detail

Design and Production - PRINT - Must Possess the Following Qualities:

• A creative mind with a highly-developed visual sense
• A strong visual portfolio is a must
• English language required
• Self-motivated, creative, well organised and strong communication skills.
