Deputy Managing Director

A leading Private Equity with more than $3 billion of assets under-management (AUM) is looking for a high calibre investment professionals to join their team. This role involves intense participation in both pre-deal and post-deal process, providing recommendations on companies' business strategy and operation


Description

* Sourcing deals, drive the deal structuring and manage external stakeholders' relationships while having a good understanding of regulatory requirements in the region

* Manage private equity deals and existing portfolio companies, provide recommendations on companies' business strategy and operations

* Seek and manage the execution of exit opportunities through IPO or trade sales

* Generally running investment teams, responsible for execution process, has decision-making responsibility and be one of the main points of contact externally for the business



* Proactively manage the corporation relationships and communications to ensure positive relationships and visibility on fund opportunities


Profile

* A minimum of 6-8 years private equity/investment banking experience is required

* Successfully completed five or more investment transactions (involved in both pre-deal and post-deal)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders

* Strong leadership skills (must have managed a team of at least five investment professionals)

* Bachelor or Master degree from top local or internationally recognised universities

* MBA and/or certificate of CFA is an advantage



* Language: Excellent verbal and written communication of English and Vietnamese
