Deputy Finance Manager

1. RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

• Prepare and assist Finance Manager with the monthly financial reports package for Rheem Australia Pty Ltd.
• Take a lead role and improve the Bravo finance control system and reporting efficiency in order to eliminate excel file reporting. Allow more time for investigative reporting.
• Prepare all related-tax documents for the company, maintaining up-to-date tax law and regulations and communication of changes to top management, including provision of explanations and recommended solutions in the event of non-compliance.
• Manage cash flows for daily/weekly/ monthly operations.
• Prepare and assist Finance Manager with budget reports and variance analysis.
• Responsible for all account reconciliation.
• Maintenance and reconciliation of bank accounts, standing journals, accruals and prepayments, leases to reflect monthly expenses.
• Review and verify Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Tender guarantee. Take legal actions for those related to credit with top management approvals.
• Support the profitable growth of the company by active participation in quality improvement processes.
• Identify, lead change management and system improvements to reduce operating variances and deficiencies in current processes.
• Investigation of liabilities which contravenes policy, instructions, regulatory authority requirements, industrial awards, or provincial and federal laws.
• Coordination of annual audits.
• To review and post payroll transactions.
• Provide information to department management, and assist in other functions as requested by the manager.
• Ensures sound commercial practices are employed within Rheem Vietnam in line with, Audit and Statutory requirements by communicating and developing procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of control over balance sheet items by monthly reconciliation and review accounts.
• Identify and lead cost control activities related to BOM, plant and equipment – supervise costing and inventory control.
• Manage budget, and actual capital and expenditure of major projects.
• Verify all supporting payment documents and make payment voucher and ensure all payments are made properly, legally and in a timely manner, and in line with company policies, purchase orders and company policies.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expenses report; recording entries.
• As a person who is in charge of petty cash of the company, this role must safeguard the cash of company in a highest standard possible.
• Be responsible for advance payments to employees. All advance payments are in booked, kept track and followed properly.
• Record all VAT-in and VAT-out transaction to Bravo system in a timely manner with accurate information.
• Reconciles vendor statements and verify vendor accounts periodically.
• Be responsible for all sales invoices and receivables.

2. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The incumbent is responsible for promoting and actively participating in the implementation and management of the Quality system ISO 9001 and conforms to the Rheem Vietnam Quality Policy.
The incumbent shall perform all duties requested of them by their immediate supervisor
/ manager in so far that the request is reasonable, can be conducted in a safe manner and is aligned with the objectives of the organization.
The incumbent is responsible for the communication and implementation of OHS and Environmental policies and procedures to ensure legislative and regulatory compliance.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring personal and employee participation in rehabilitation programs and adopting a proactive approach to Risk Management.

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS.
• Previous experience with SAP, Oracle, or Bravo (company software)
• University degree in Accounting, Finance
• Advanced English
• Advanced IT skills
• At least 10 years of experience within a similar role, preferable in manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of all tax (CIT, PIT, VAT, Import tax etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in VAS and IAS
• Priority: Candidates who live in Binh Duong Province
