Deputy Chief Engineer

* Location: Centre Point, 106 Nguyen Van Troi, Ward 8, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh city

* The Role:
You will be responsible to assist to Chief Engineer for the maintenance, repair of the mechanical and electrical systems in the buildings (Mechanical, Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire protection and security systems…) and controlling the Fit-out/Renovation Works from Tenants. You will be required to implement Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Plan for all M&E systems, procure maintenance service contracts and liaise with relevant service providers to implement rectification works and M&E services and assist in overseeing all M&E upgrading projects.

You will plan, control, organize and monitor all property M&E operations to ensure that they are consistent with the asset objectives and standards of accreditation or regulatory agencies, including compliance with building safety requirements and standards. You will be managing a team of technicians to ensure quality and productivity in their work.
You must ensure the highest level of professionalism, while meeting the client's needs. Be familiar with knowledge of codes, laws and regulations relating to the operation of the facility, and be able to implement and supervise activities to ensure the risk management is controlled.

Monitor and coordinate with outsource contractors in accordance with the service contracts, and warranties. Maintain and operate all M&E system including chillers, cooling towers, generators, ventilations, elevators, etc. Maintain training and re-training all technicians, supporting them to meet the requirement performance and duties. Conduct, monitor all fit-out, renovation or reinstatement works in the tenancies and the building in a safety manner and comply with the building’s rules and regulations.

The Deputy Chief Engineer will reports directly to the Building Chief Engineer all daily operation and functional lines report to the Property Manager or other superior Managers/Directors as required.

The person
You should have a Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), with at least 3 years' relevant hands-on experience in M&E building systems. Strong leadership, planning, communication skills and good interpersonal skills are essential. You must have good communication in English (writing & speaking). You are good at using Microsoft Office and especially Autocad.
