Well established in Vietnam, Alstom has completed several projects both in mainline and in urban transport solutions successfully in the country. In January 2017, Alstom as leader of a consortium, signed a contract with Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) to supply a metro system for Hanoi metro line 3. This is the first integrated metro system contract for Alstom in Vietnam.

*** Mission
Within the context of the Hanoi metro project, the Depot Equipment installation Engineer will have the responsibility to :
• Supervise supplier technical description and ensure they respect the agreed interfaces and contractual functional requirement
• Supervise supplier schedule and ensure that FAT, and installation deliverables are made on time
• Ensure that the proposed design is compliant with local standards and regulations
• Write the dedicated specifications and manage the interfaces with other subsystems, from design to installation phase.
• Inform the DEQ Manager of the risks or technical issues, evaluate these deviations,
• Ensure that civil work pre-requisite are fulfilled by the civil work company by performing site survey
• Write the method statement for Depot equipment installation (including the lifting operations)
• Update the equipment interface drawing
• Prepare the civil work handover process for Depot Equipment

Candidate Requirements
• Educational Requirements
• Civil work/ Mechanical engineer degree; or other degree with experience and strong motivation for fields activities
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese

Desired Knowledge / Experience
• Civil work and mechanical strong knowledge

Software:
• Word, Excel, Power Point,
• Expert in AutoCAD and if possible 3D REVIT
