Demand Planning Manager

As the Demand Planning Manager, your responsibility is to create and maintain forecast, business and financial models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources associated with customers and products. Your role is the integration point into the sales, operations and supply chain organization. You report directly to the Planning Manager.

Key accountabilities:
• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function;
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results;
• Interact with sales, marketing, and customer to understand demand forecast drivers;
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions;
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts;
• Proactively coordinate with supply chain & operations team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs;
• Deliver clear and accurate business and performance analysis to assist in both strategic and tactical action planning;
• Ensure harmonious integration of customer product and solution demands with smooth operational and supply chain practices;
• Balance the competing demands of multiple demanding roles and constant pressured deadlines plus priorities all within a high growth emerging market space.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in demand planning positions; proven experience as Demand planning/management. Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus;
• Highly numerate, analytical thinker and ability to use critical thinking skills on a regular basis.
• Professional skill: decision making, project management;
• Proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint to create impactful and relevant presentations.
• Proven knowledge and Expert in handling extensive data sets in MS Excel (Advanced user).
• Excellent command of English;
• Interpersonal skills – Excellent ability to work and communicate in multi-functional team and multiple stakeholders.
• Be an influential member of the team with a willingness to exceed expectations.

Please note: this position is based in the Plant (My Xuan A IZ, Tan Thanh District, BRVT Province) two to three days per week (one to two days in the Office-REE Tower, 9 Doan Van Bo, Ward 12, District 4, HCM City)
