Demand/ Capacity Planner

Job Description:
We are searching for a talented Demand Planner to ensure our company’s partners operations deliver our products in full and on-time. You will conduct demand/capacity planning duties including anticipating & forecasting customer demands, analyzing production capacity and ensuring a plan is in place that ensures we will deliver 100% in full on time to our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Develop an effective forecast model based on customer historical demand, seasonal patterns and industry trends.
• Convert the forecast to a “live” plan based on confirmed POs
• Analyse our manufacturing partners businesses and build a capacity plan covering a minimum of an 18 month window
• Build a rough-cut demand plan for 18 month window
• Build a “live” demand plan by matching the available capacity with confirmed customer orders
• Monitor tier 2 production suppliers to ensure they can enable our manufacturing partners to meet their promises
• Monitor production statistics compare against plans and agreed delivery dates and identify early any risks in on time delivery schedules
• Prepare plans to mitigate any identified risks
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Communicate and report on all capacity, forecasts and on time delivery data
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Conduct monthly forecast reviews with all manufacturing partners, and quarterly reviews with selected tier 2 suppliers
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should:
• Be highly analytical
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Have strong numerical skills, Excell skills required at Intermediate/Expert level
• An in-depth knowledge of manufacturing environments & production planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (strong English skills is mandatory)
• Knowledge and experience in S&OP methodologies would be advantageous

Other
• Travel to various to Sites will be required regularly
• The role is based in Ho Chi Min City
• Reports to: Operations Director
