Demand And Supply Planning Manager

*Purpose of Role: To manage the Planning Operations from the forecasting stage through demand management, production planning, material planning and MIS delivery for PVN.

*Key Accountabilities/ Job Description:
1. Responsible for organizing and executing the all the Planning Activities of PVM Viet Nam.
2. Responsible for the timely and accurate release of the Monthly Production Outlook, Production Plan and Weekly Production Schedule for the Song Than Plant. This job includes drawing-up the plans in a manner whereby capacity utilization and plant productivity are maximized, while, simultaneously ensuring that product availability across Markets is in line with the accepted Demand of both Home Trade and Exports.
3. Responsible for co-ordination with Marketing, Sales, Process & Technical, Production and Manufacturing to ensure that the currency of the plan for the ongoing month is protected. Make weekly updates and facilitate course corrections, whenever required.
4. Responsible, along with the Purchase Manager and the Warehouse Manager, for ensuring that the inventories of finished goods, raw materials and packing materials, across the country are as per agreed norms.
5. Responsible for converting production plans into executable material plans, in close co-ordination with the Manager - Sourcing, and monitoring the receipt of materials in line with plans. (from 2009 onwards).
6. Responsible for providing all Planning support to the co-packing operation – advance information of plans, monitoring and reporting progress, etc.,
7. Responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and timely supplies to Exports, coordinating with them and keeping them informed of the status of their orders, prioritizing with the plant if required, and ensuring the final dispatch.
8. Responsible for achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators
9. Responsible for liaising with Sales & Marketing, Sourcing and the Plant for the speedy execution of new product launches and promotions.
10. Responsible for developing competencies in his/ her team.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned

- Technical/ Professional knowledge and skills
o Knowledge: degree in Food chemistry/ Economic/ Foreign Trade, at least 3-4 yrs experience at the same position in FMCG companies, preferably in confectionery companies
o Skills: Communication (both oral & written English & Vietnamese); excellent use of Excel, familiar with SAP systems is a plus
