Delivery Director

The Strategic role who ensures that business projects are executed effectively and efficiently. The Delivery Director oversees projects and develops and maintains project management methodologies, standards and tools. Extensive interaction with external customers. Significant participation in strategic planning. Reviews contracts and is accountable for proper execution of contract terms. Works with senior leadership to develop policies, procedures and the business work. Provides direction, coordinates and supervises the activities of business support, technical support or development team at exempt levels using established policies and procedures. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other managers. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and efficiency.

• Contribute to strategic and business planning for the programs by participating in planning activities company-wide, identifying project initiatives and operational issues. Assist with development and tracking of budget.
• Participate in all efforts to grow the business
• Manage programs per the scope of work, program and standard operating procedures within the contracted budget
• Manage day-to-day activity of the program operation, including supervision of staff.
• Monitor program statistics and metrics.
• Resolve complex cases.
• Day to day contact with complex clients for issue resolution.
• Lead the analysis and writing of client reports and other deliverables.
• Presentation of program information to external customers.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key contacts of clients’ companies
• Communicate program status and forecast with customers
• Work with management to analyze operations and efficiency of the programs.
• Acts as a mentor to other Managers.
• Participate in interviewing prospective employees, evaluating current employees, and train employees as needed.
• Work to develop employee’s supervisory skills and provide direction to supervisory staff concerning performance management issues

1. Required Experience

• 15+ years of relevant experience in IT field, especially software outsourcing.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Delivery Management in software development, plus with Fintech/Ecommerce.
2. Managerial & Leadership Skills

• Have proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices and substantial team leadership experience with a focus on team development.
• Ability to manage relationships at various levels within the organization.
• Ability to influence and resolve conflict through timely and transparent communications.
• Ability to effectively manage through change, whether a change in business requirements, change in business priorities, or change in resources.
• Ability to assess and manage risks at an organizational level.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Ability to manage teams on a day-to-day basis with minimum 400 people.
3. Education & Other Competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or Computer Sciences OR equivalent work experience.
• Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning (long and mid-range), forecasting and tracking skills
• Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention results
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
