Dean or Vice Dean of Faculty At Hoa Sen Univeristy

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Develop the Faculty development plan in accordance with the University's positioning;
– Prepare major opening plans and training programs, which are passed by the Faculty’s Science Council and submitted to the President for approval;
– Organize training programs, teaching plans and training courses for majors taught at the faculty and departments, and other educational activities in the university’s general teaching plan;
– Establish international cooperation projects; Coordinate departments to develop relationships with academic and research organizations and corporates; Enhance knowledge and practices for lecturers and internship opportunities for students; Link training with research, business and social life;
– Manage the faculty’s lecturers, admin staffs, and students according to the President's decentralization; Improve lecturers’ and admin staffs’ professional qualifications; Expanding cooperation with domestic and foreign scientists, business partners and alumni to maximize the social capital for the development of the Faculty and the University;
– Ensure the quality of research, as well as training content and methods;
– Organize the compilation of syllabuses, textbooks, teaching materials for the courses operated at the Faculty. Research and improve teaching and learning methods; Propose additional plans;
– Comply with the University’s regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications
– PhD in the following majors: Accounting, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality & Tourism, English Linguistics, Methods of Language Teaching; Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related majors;
– At least 3 years of working experience in the related fields, particularly in a multicultural or international working environment;
– Strong academic administration and teaching background from a university or any institution similar to the university level;
– Ability to develop academic staff capacity and international cooperation;
– Ability to manage academic and/or administrative staff and monitor budgets;
– Strong communication, social, and teaching skills;
– Ability and experience in scientific research;
– Experience in establishing international relations;
– Experience in serving communities;
– Ability to work under high pressure;
– Fluent in English.
