DBA - Database Administrator

For our IES Vietnam – IT Division in Ho Chi Minh City, we are currently recruiting 01 Senior DBA to help us build software PRODUCTs for customers and IES business with various demanding requirements in domains: ERP, Finance, Online E-Learning, Content management system
- Managing and monitoring database for user access and security.
- Performance monitoring and managing parameters to provide fast responses
- Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users.
- Refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model.
- Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements.
- Installing and testing new versions of the DBMS.
- Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act.
- Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
- Controlling access permissions and privileges.
- Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans.
- Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly, database high availability for Test environment, production environment

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Relevant Majors
- From 3 ~ 5 years of experience for MSSQL or more than 3 years of experience for RDBMS.
- Able to develop SQL/Store procedures, make database design diagram using tools, manage DB for operating products.
- Understand the testing process
- Strong problem-solving skill, with a logical and analytical approach to work.
- Proactive and positive.
- Good at English in listening, reading, writing and speaking.
- Passionate working , high team work spirit and be willing to learn the new technologies.
