Working with Prudential as Data Scientist/ Machine Learning expert means being a champion harness the data generated from sales and transactions to 1.5 million existing customers, 1.9 million policies and from activity of hundred thousands of sales agents, develop insights that can be translated into actions that drive business growth at different areas (Agency/Partnership Distribution, Product Development, Operations, Customer service, Fraud detection)

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business challenges, define hypotheses, develop necessary tests/ experiment, analyze to prove or disprove them
• Mine and analyze large-scale data sources (both structured and unstructured) to uncover insights, issues and opportunities and recommend solutions
• Build, validate, test and deploy machine learning models
• Contribute to the improvement of database management, reporting and extraction workflow process through streamlining and automation.
• Coordinate with 3rd party analytics or regional Centre of Excellence experts to learn and replicate best practice in Vietnam
• Provide technical sharing/training to team members

Qualifications:
• Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science or related Quantitative discipline, preferably a Master
• Knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques/ recommendation and optimization algorithms is required
• Min 2 years of experience in business intelligence/ business analytics/ machine learning
• Ability to interpret data and translate them into actionable insights, communicate them to mass audience
• Being proficient in R and/or Python, SAS knowledge is a plus
• Critical thinking
• Curiosity mindset & Can-do attitude
• Self-motivated, independent learner, and willing to share knowledge with team members
• Good communication skill
