Data Analyst, Forensics Technology Consulting

We are now looking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst to join our team and support our continued growth. We are looking for people with a right mix of commercial experience and technology to help our client unlock the hidden value of corporate data. In doing so, we will help investors to add value to their investee companies pre and post-deal.

Responsibilities
As an Associate/Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
• Prepare deliverables
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand
Forensic Technology Consulting Associates/Senior Associates in the Advisory Practice will play an integral role by supporting consulting solutions to PwC clients

• Degree Preferred: Bachelor or Masters Degree
• Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year(s)
• Demonstrates some proven knowledge and skills in the following areas:
• An analytical mindset and disciplined approach to problem-solving;
• Understanding of evidence and investigative processes
• Aptitude for technical analysis is a must, as is a desire to develop and sustain a wide-ranging set of technical data analysis skills;
• Demonstrated interest in technology through class work or internships and a desire to apply technical solutions to business and legal problems;
• Desire to pursue a consulting career;
• Flexibility and desire to travel, as client assignments require;
• A basic understanding through coursework, experience and/or internships of Technology consulting and one or more of the following areas: Programming in SQL, Access, Oracle, Pearl, Java, C, C++, .NET and HTML or XML; Windows 2002/2003, and/or Unix; Firewall, Networking, TCP/IP and Operating Systems; Application development and design, portals, and/or packaged Web applications.
• A basic understanding through coursework, experience and/or internships in computer forensics
