In this role, you will be an essential part of the company and get a high degree of personal responsibility. People are our most valuable asset. You will go through an extensive training program where you will gain industry knowledge, international experience, better communication skills and techniques relevant to your position. Responsibilities include:
• Be the interface between Customers and Internal departments, attend to Customer’s general enquiry and assist them to navigate the company’s requirements and procedures.
• Always place customer satisfaction at the core of each of his/ her business decisions
• Receive, confirm, create/ modify bookings as customers’ requests via fax/ email/ INTRA booking system
• Provide information of vessels, shipping schedules to shippers if requested
• Verify customers’ information, maintain an accurate and up-to-date Customer database
• Coordinate with representative agencies, allowing them to handle shipment from these ports.
• Resolve any issues related to shipments before, during and after the shipping process
• Perform other duties assigned by HOD.

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn work flow applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to execute project activities of high complexity within stretch time lines and in a dynamic environment.
• Candidates with industry related knowledge and experiences working in shipping lines /forwarders are prioritized.
• Team player with ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
• Excellent communicator with a positive can-do attitude.
