We are looking for a talented individual to join our Credit team, a category defining Fintech startup that is backed by Tier-1 investors and partners. The role will entail the developing, as well as the execution of various loan and trade financing procedures. Specifically:

• Engaging in a wide range of operational activities alongside managing customer relationships, including but not limited to: establishing direct communication channels with clients, issuing loan agreements, applying payments to individual accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, taking direct collections action, issuing monthly statements, addressing customer claims, etc.
• Use checklists to track and ensure day-to-day ops functions are performed within agreed turnaround time.
• Reduce approval-to-loan activation time, reducing the percentage of our portfolio late repayments.
• Ensure all tickets raised in systems are promptly attended/ allocated to the correct department/ personnel.
• Become intimately familiar with the credit insurance policy and ensure compliance at all times.
• Assist credit department in credit analysis and risk management.
• Design and continuously improve existing and new business processes. This includes monitoring the IT systems that support day-to-day operations; outlining process flows, defining operating rules and policies, assigning operational roles and responsibilities, integrating manual operations with IT systems and defining performance metrics.
• Prepare regular presentations on the overall portfolio and deliver results and improvement plans to the Credit Committee.

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy and/or Business discipline.
• Minimum 5 years prior experience in Credit Operations or Credit Controller roles. Working knowledge on trade finance products will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English
• Comfortable learning new computer skills, especially complex financial systems.
• Meticulous, precise, logical and have an eye for detail.
• Confident, independent worker with high adaptability to dynamic situations; able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing technology-driven environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral in English.
