Credit Officer

Key responsibilities:

- Review and make recommendation on credit proposals under delegated approval authorities;
- Work with business units in putting together credit package that are acceptable to client and internal;
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure reporting and control mechanism are in place and are in line with those of HO Credit;
- To make recommendations on necessary improvements/amendments to credit policies and procedures and ensure that these are implemented as and when approved;
- Visits clients’ sites with relationship managers to have a clear understanding of their credit worthiness.
- To perform any other duties as may be assigned by Credit Head or assigned person from time to time.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree (prefer in Credit and Finance or equivalent)
- At least 10-years CO experience in commercial banking
- Requires good knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, credit administration and SBV’s regulations
- Fluent in Vietnamese, English (speaking, reading, writing). Mandarin communication (speaking, reading) is an advantage.
- Good command of various computer programs and applications Computer skill in MS Office
- High spirit of team work
- Ability to work under high pressure
