Reports to: Finance Director
Business Unit (BU): Vietnam
1. Position Summary: This position ensure that all amounts due are collected according to the agreed payment terms using the most efficient methods. Manage credit risk and minimize bad debts..
2. Position Details:
o Ensure all customer data is accurately recorded within the SAP system.
o Build good working relationships with Operations to ensure the smooth running of accounts.
o Keep DSO within the agreed number of days.
o Responsible for meeting targets in monthly receivables and keeping bad debt to a minimum.
o Manage bad and doubtful debts effectively, initiating proceedings to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion and liaise with Solicitors regarding legal action where required.
o Assess and monitor credit limits and credit risk.
o Measure incidence and ensure all queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
o Review, revise and implement the Credit Policy and the company Credit Control procedures.
o Assist the Head of Finance with cash forecasting.
o Set and monitor credit limits and liaise with the Finance Director with regard to decisions about individual customers.
o Hold monthly credit review meetings with Finance Director.
o Keep the company up to date with new credit management procedures and techniques.
o Ensure collections activity is correctly recorded and updated on the system.
o Comply with all Health, Safety, HR, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
o The above list is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post. Job descriptions are regularly reviewed to ensure they are an accurate representation of the post.
o Set up appropriate credit limit and credit term
o Close liaison with Sales Department and customers
o Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
o After getting the payment, CRC provides information of payments to Acct Dept. on daily basis.
o Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables to EDS approval
o Sales training:
• New salesperson need to be trained about credit policy, financial analysis
• The important of DIO and DSO and why we have to focus on credit risk
• How to fill in Credit Workflow in Lotus Notes
o The new customer:
• Provide financial info for Sales Dept.
• Visit customer with Salespeople to negotiate about credit
• Analyze and approve the credit
• Maintain in SAP and keep the relevant documents
o Review Credit for existing customer:
• Select the expired credit to review or suggest Sales Dept.to review the unappropriated credit
• Provide financial info for Sales Dept.
• Suggest the appropriated credit to Sales Dept.
• Update in SAP
o Proceed for collection:
• Bill Placement
• Checking transferred payment
• Document control and schedule for bill collectors
• Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed term
• Submit information to Acct Dept.
o Overdue follow up:
• Internal reviewing by biweekly for overdue over 20 days with follow up action to customer and salesperson
• Send out two dunning letters to customer
• Visit customer to get payment plan
• Monthly report to Sales Dept. and EDS
• Take legal action

Yêu cầu ứng viên
o University degree, major in accounting with at least 6-year working experience in equivalent position and having experienced local, international accounting practice
o Good practical experiences in computer-based accounting acquired from an international company and in common application software, i.e. spreadsheet and word processing.
o Knowledge of ERP system (like: Exact, SAP…) and good experience in Business workflow applied for ERP solutions for the trading and manufacturing environment.
o Understand the importance of meeting corporate reporting deadlines and be prepared to work overtime when required
o Able to self-organize and prioritize work to meet changing demands without becoming too stressed.
o Well communicate and write in English, Interact positively within the BU accounting team, other accounting and BU staff members and to ensure the smooth flow of business information.
o Customer Focus: Good understanding of the customer's needs by the team and of each other's responsibilities, and quick resolution of issues arising.
o Good practical experiences in computer-based accounting acquired from an international company and in common application software, i.e. spreadsheet and word processing.
