Creative Director

Job Description
As the creative director, you will support the Director of Brand, Communications and Marketing in all areas associated with the development and implementation of our marketing plans and budgets through creative activities. Your focus is to spearhead the development of original design concepts and approaches, oversee multiple projects through execution, and manage and inspire a team of creatives. You will lead the development of digital marketing strategies, drive collaboration between design, creative marketing, sales, and experience teams, and inspire the digital team to exceed expectations at all levels.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead a team of creatives in the development and delivery of thought leadership and creative solutions across all digital channels that strengthen our value propositions and leadership position.
• Generate a strong and credible creative rationale to support creative ideas to an audience of consumers, executives and anyone in-between.
• Generate innovative ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms and inspire colleagues to create world-class, pioneering content.
• Articulate and justify conceptual and design choices.
• Responsible for the creation and design of all integrated marketing materials including print, digital, social, broadcast, collateral, apparel and expo activities to communicate the mission of TBS and its brands.
• Responsible for entire design - concept, creation and production.
• Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
• Guide, mentor, and lead members of the creative team to maintain consistency and engagement through award-winning work.
• Lead concept, creative development, and presentation of new business development efforts.
• Ensure relevance and a consistent brand voice across the owned channels.
• Implement a framework for online marketing that includes paid search and search engine optimization
• Lead integration with the Business Unit for acquisition, segmentation and loyalty needs.
• Work with other departments to promote and achieve program and event goals and objectives
• Oversee all asset creation, management, and distribution for maximum impact and reach of our messages.

• Must have a thorough understanding of photography, videography, typography, printing, digital components.
• Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role
• Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
• Outstanding leadership and organization skills
• Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
• BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset
