I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
• Responsible for standardised processes and procedures for Data Centre SLAs in compliance with legislation and meeting industry ‘best practice’
• Monitoring Maintenance Management Strategies to ensure alignment with Client’s objectives, especially in terms of
business continuity
• Ensures all Statutory and non-Statutory PPM’s are completed before the due date.
• Ensures all reactive Engineering related work orders are responded and completed in line with commitments by Standard Chartered Bank.
• The budget control element in the R&R as technical lead is also responsible for ensuring that the LCR and R&M budget is
• Attaining and achieving overall KPI in country performance reporting relating to Country Technical Engineering and
• Development of critical site profiles and maintenance strategy
• Develop processes to assure continuity of critical systems & resilience robustness and mitigation strategies
• Establish the overall Asset Management & Maintenance Strategy to be followed
• Ensure first level of assurance on the below aspects
+ All Engineering Assets are captured in the Assets Register
+ PM schedule available for all assets
+ Timely commissioning / decommissioning of assets on FMP in line with portfolio changes / LCR
• Implementation of Remedy Change Control in maintenance activities of Critical Environment
• Implementation of safe work practices through following in operation & maintenance activities
+ Permit to Work & Work Method Statements
+ Personal Protection Procedures
• Work order management, to ensure actual work completion is accurately reflected in the system.
• Acts as focal point to respond to critical engineering failure which affects Standard Chartered Bank business in respective country / region
• Ensures detailed factual and technical incident reports and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports for submission to Standard Chartered Bank within stipulated time frame
• Acts as point of contact in the Country ensuring that best practice on Data Centre Operations and innovation is applied where appropriate.
+ Undertakes regular management audit review of critical services in country on specific compliance
+ Drives the development of local country energy and environmental programmes including closely monitoring site energy usage and responsible for financial forecasting and energy reporting.
• Identifies Energy and Environmental initiatives to meet country E&E targets each year.
• Owning the service delivery measurement
• Managing key supplier vendors and client relationships
• Develop and manage self delivery technical and handyman team with appropriate skills/training to meet service delivery as per client requirements
• Manage the cost-effective procurement of all engineering maintenance services
• Manage forward maintenance plans that track asset condition and projected maintenance costs on a 5 year rolling basis
• Overall responsibility for ensuring all engineering maintenance documentation/records are kept in clearly identified and retrievable systems
• Advise the Facilities Management Teams of changes in critical environment requirements
• Provide expert technical advice and statutory compliance to the site maintenance teams and their clients to promote best in class service / best practice.
• Develop and assist in the delivery of a cost effective site maintenance plans.
• Support business development in the generation of fully costed maintenance
• Provide advice and direction in the management of site based multi-skilled maintenance teams, this to include effective hiring, motivation, development, training and discipline
• Advise of changes in maintenance techniques that may be beneficial in terms of improved service levels or provide cost
• Responsible for managing technical maintenance services and critical environment services
• Responsible for the consistency in delivery of technical services for Standard Chartered in the Country

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a related environment
