Country Real Estate Manager

ABB Power Grids offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.
You will establish and implement the Real Estate strategy and plan to ensure the Power Grids business has the right premises at the right time in order to achieve economy of operations and maximize utilization of facilities.Based in Hanoi, you will ensure that an appropriate work environment is provided for all people and production units.

Your responsibilities
• Developing strategic real estate plans for the medium term to enhance the Local Business Line’s facilities for both current and prescribed future needs.
• Developing real estate master plan with required investments and space requirements to meet the strategy of the businesses and maximizing efficiencies through consolidation and sub-letting initiatives.
• Manages the financial performance of the real estate for the business to meet or exceed committed performance levels and managing assets in a cost efficient and economical way to improve profitability, productivity and flexibility.
• Establishing and regularly updating a detailed corporate real estate inventory of all ABB owned, leased/rented sites, plots of land, offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, storage, parking, cafeteria, etc.
• Supervising all major real estate investments in owned or leased facilities and ensuring such investments are submitted for formal approval and in line with Group policy.
• Acting as prime point of contact for local authorities for regulatory and compliance purposes and benchmarking, monitoring and reporting on related real estate occupancy costs for all facilities.

• A University degree in Real Estate, Civil Construction, Business Administration.
• More than 5 years of experience in similar area, of which 3 years in supervisory or managerial level.
• Good knowledge and experience in Real Estate Operations Management; Experience in multinational company is a plus.
• Resilience under pressure and capable of keeping track of complex situations.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong English communication and customer-relationship-building skills.
