Duties
• Calculate standard cost and recommended FOB for new products or existing products being revised
- Estimate cost based on partial BOM vs FOB target to asses compatibility of specifications with FOB target
- Coordinate with engineering and purchasing to get all information available and checked
- Estimate labor times based on sample production, comparison with existing products and studies in factories and update labor times in BOM
- After BOM completion by engineering, prepare Product Costing Sheet and calculate standard cost and recommended FOB price
- After validation of recommended FOB by Manufacturing Controller, communicate costing summary and recommended FOB to Sales
- Make recommendations for materials standard prices update and assist department manager in update standard prices in MRP
• Management of pricing guidelines, materials standard prices and labor standard rates
• Upon requirement, prepare estimated costing and recommended prices for Hospitality projects
- Estimated cost and prices within 10 days of request, including safety buffers
- Follow up on all changes requested by customers and adjust costing and pricing accordingly
- Update costing once BOMs have been completed
- Assist Hospitality Manager in calculating additional cost and estimated project margin

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Finance/ Accounting/ Economics
- At least 1 years’ experience in engineering or standard costing roles
• Skills

- Work well under pressure
- Good English is a plus
- Fluent user of MS office and MRP
• Competencies
