Costing Analyst (Footwear) – 6 Months contract

Key Purpose of the Job:

To be responsible with Timberland Development & Production Cost to maximize company margin

Key Area of Responsibility:

Seasonal Development Cost Management:
1. Initial Development cost calculation and outsourcing investigation to support USA/Asia PD
2. Early Development cost reminder / suggestion to PD for better design-for-cost.
3. New Development initial allocation suggestion from costing wise
4. Development Transfer cost-comparison and negotiation
5. Value Engineering review with PD/Tech for each Dev-milestone with summarization of all kinds of cost-suggestion / impact to communicate with USA PD/Cost.
6. Development Leather ALN running / update deviation (vs actual requests from factories)
7. Leather yield optimization / negotiation by each Development milestone
8. Development pattern efficiency monitor / suggestion to maximization the final efficiency by each Dev-milestone
9. Development material consolidation to simplify material procurement and minimize material MOQ charge
10. Outsourcing investigation / cross-check and evaluation
11. New development material price checking and verify
12. Additional LO oversee / check and negotiation
13. Cost-saving / mitigation record during Dev-stage.
14. Pro-Cost system routine maintain and communication with Pro-Cam if necessary
15. Development Cost Sheet completion timely and accurately accordingly to Corporate Development/Cost calendar
16. Development Price List / PLM update & maintenance

Production Cost Management:
1. LO / the other cost-standards update as per actual adjustment
2. Leather Vendor Buy check and update
3. Non-Leather material price oversee & update if any revision
4. Bottom / Upper components price update
5. ECN Application Cost-impact advise / ECN Running Changing CBD update as per implementation
6. Surcharge management for orders lower MOQ
7. Additional Tooling / Material MOQ/Ex-works terms AIR-Freight charge amortization via CBD
8. Production Transfer Cost-comparison and negotiation
9. Weekly / Monthly Production Cost Sheet completion timely and accurately.
10. Production Price List / PPV update & maintenance
11. Production cost saving / avoidance record during production stage
12. Production planning system (FMS SAP/Reva/Acadia SAP) price update & maintain

o Have Footwear Costing experience at least 3 years, and can handle job after under training 2 days;
o Good excel skill and can do some system data analysis;
o To be very careful;
o Good English skill on speaking/listening/ writing, if have Chinese background, it will be better to communicate with team.
