Costing Accountant

MISSION:
Costing Accountant has responsibility for accurate and timely month-end closing, account reconciliations, and production cost variance analysis for Factory. This person will be responsible for all product costing, inventory management processes while ensuring compliance with Company’s policies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounting
- Ensure month-end closing activities (material ledger closing, cost center assessment, order settlement, etc.), account reconciliations and production cost variance analysis are completed accurately by Cost Analyst team on a timely basis, Analysis
- Oversee obsolescence expense, stock provision and reserve monthly entries.
- Reconcile and make sure all inventory movement are done on time in full and accurate.
- Be responsible for the accuracy factory OPEX, CAPEX transaction: make sure that all transactions are recorded in right CE and financial dimensions
- Monthly/ quarterly/ yearly stock take preparation
- Verify purchase order for maintenance
- Calculate costing
- Reconciliation: details and general ledgers
- Month-end closing inventory reconciliation
- Project costing capture
- Capitalization and depreciation journal entries

2. Compliance/Process
- Initial for process improvements related to inventory valuation, costing processes and closing activities.
- Champion system enhancements to enable better reporting & analysis on inventory, cost, and production support, and provide guidance, leadership and innovation for continuous process improvements while driving efficiencies and optimization of overall manufacturing finance support.

3. Analyzing:
- Inventory Aging analyst: analyze the inventory aging and slow moving SKU, propose for provision booking and highlight with SC/production management team
- DIO analyst
- Variance analyst to improve BOM accuracy and standard conversion cost
- Monthly actual Opex reports.
- Monthly COS analyst
- Prepare cost card for new products
- Monthly capex report

4. Master data:
- Update BOM
- Project & asset creation

1. Accurate and timely analysis and reports.
2. Compliant break-counted transactions
3. Improvement degree of Inventory level.
4. ERP efficiently optimizing level

Working time: 08:00am – 05:30pm
