Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist (Wps)

Mission:
- PROACTIVELY support Plant to reach Business and Lean system/ WCM targets coordinating all WCM activities and acting as Focus Improvement Pillar Leader

Scope of Responsibility:
- The Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, leading, and implementing continuous improvement strategies that are aligned with company values, and that assist in the achievement of the Corporation's business objectives. The primary accountabilities of the role include strategizing and leading local continuous improvement initiatives in: customer service, subsidiary financial performance, throughput, asset utilization, Quality, safety, Labor Relations, and people and organization development, as measured by Corporate, Divisional, and Local KPI's.
The Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist has to be an effective and valuable member of the local Supply Chain leadership team, to ensure delivery of business results in his/her geographic area, function, or category. The Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist works within a structure that requires interface with all levels and functions of the organization, and as such has to be able to build and nurture relationships with a wide variety of organizational partners.

Core Responsibilities:
• Optimize business processes, develop right support tools & implement system development roadmap (SAP), train & coach shop floor people in capabilities of using tools & systems to implement processes
• Support to coordinate WCM Standards implementation for the Plant
• Perform root cause analysis & systematically prioritize CI opportunities based on usage of Lean Sigma concepts & tools (SPC, VSM, Kaizen, Line balancing, time & method study, SMED, FMEA…)
• Conduct functional training & pillar leader development

Main activities:
- Support Pillar Leaders
- Coordinate activities to prepare assessment and audit being referent point for plant visits
- Send to central team the request for training and consultant support or contacting directly consultants informing CT
- Act as Focus Improvement Pillar Leader
- Coordinate WCM meetings within the Plant
- Attend and prepare documents for Group WCM Meetings
- Promote WCM mindset
- Manage and distribute standards for the Plant according to group standards received from Central Team
- Propose new improved best practice to CKEs
- Help selecting model areas and projects
- Perform “genba walks” with CPS in order to check that WCM tools are really used and not only updated for audits

Education:
B.A./B.S. Degree in technical/ engineering (preferably in an industrial system engineering is a plus or operations management fields)

Experience:
2 - 4 years working for Operations/ Industrial engineering departments (preferably in Consumer Goods Industry experience)
Good data sense, systematic thinking, excellent in data analysis skills. Familiar with Operations management/ processes/ Industrial engineering tools & processes. Project planning, coordinating & management skills. Good communication, both in Vietnamese & English. Office tools (especially Excel, Ppt,),
Project management, Education:
