Job title: Content Specialist & Copywriter

Report to: Marketing and Communications Manager

Work location: Ecopark township

Job Objective:

This position is responsible for the development and placement of engaging content, messaging and copy that connects with our students and parents across multiple channels including web, email, social, paid media, video, press releases, blog posts, and more. Collaborates with heads of department, colleagues and student in the planning, production, and execution of marketing and PR communications

Key responsibilities:

Develop monthly and quarterly content plan and execution in line with British University Vietnam’s brand strategy and responsive to the market trends
Work closely with other Digital team members to produce creative contents that engage the target audiences in optimized two-way communication, build brand reputation and generate leads
Create compelling concepts and copy for social media posts, newsletters, email marketing, optimized website content, brochures, flyers, scripts, speeches and articles for the media
Work with the in-house designer, freelancers or external agencies to produce creative visuals, infographics, videos, apps and other multimedia materials for the marketing purposes
Build and maintain fruitful relations with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers for both online and offline engagement, storytelling and trend setting
Keep up to date with the education industry and have a passion for being an expert in the field
Effectively use data-driven insights to test, refine and prove content performance
Regularly learn and update new skills and tools in Digital Marketing
Work with the PR Specialist and PR agency to produce relevant content for media pitching.

Job Requirements:

Vietnamese national
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, PR or related fields
At least 3 years in copywriting and content development
Key skills: Exceptional Vietnamese writing skills and advanced English competencies with a strategic brand communication mindset
Effective communication: To actively listen and strengthen the quality of interpersonal communication in various settings
Teamwork & Collaboration: To work effectively with others to accomplish team goals and objectives
Planning & Organising: To effectively plan, organize, prioritize, manage time, resources and day-to-day demands with attention to details and outcomes
Problem Solving & Decision Making: To analyse situations and evaluate alternative solutions
Creative Thinking & Innovation: To look beyond current practices and think outside of the box to initiate new and better ways of doing things
