Icecat – the worldwide product content syndicator – is seeking for a content editor
The job in essence – to put product information into catalog’s database.
Product’s sectors: IT, Consumer Electronics, Telecom, Printing, Toys, DIY, Fashion etc.

PROFESSIONAL DUTIES
- Finding products’ data on the web.
- Putting retrieved products’ data into catalog’s PIM: images, textual descriptions, technical data (specs) etc.
- No content writing from scratch or content re-writing is required.

REQUIREMENTS AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in technical/computers.
- Used to work with PCs, e.g. installing an OS, drivers, software settings, network connection etc.
- Basic knowledge of how data is added to a website. An experience of working with any kind of PIM, CMS is a plus.
- Any experience with copy writing, re-writing or online content processing is a plus.
- Basics (advanced is a plus) in understanding of technical parameters of computers, smartphones, small and large kitchen appliances etc.
- Advanced knowledge of word-processing software (e.g. MS Word) and spreadsheet-processing software (e.g. MS Excel).
- Basic experience with graphics processing software (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus.
- Advanced internet user/online surfer, e.g. advanced Google search command.
- English is at Intermediate level.
