OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To directly handle, coordinate and drive the fulfillment of Medical requests and services to highest level of quality. To drive performance with a mind-set of creating the best possible satisfaction to all users of our operations unit. To enable the delivery of medical consultation service to affluent and high net worth segments across the globe.
OVERVIEW
• The Aspire Consultant Doctor is responsible for the day to day handling of the medical related requests from Aspire client programs, coordinating with other relevant departments in Aspire Lifestyles and International SOS to complete the user’s request with the highest level of quality.
• Collaboration and coordination will be essential between management and peers worldwide as well as functional heads such as Sales, Assistant Centers, Medical.
• The key client segments to be serviced are:
o Banks: Private Banking, Wealth Management, Credit Card Issuing Banks
o Insurance: Life Insurance High APNs, VIP customer segment, Non-life Insurance Healthcare policies
o Other luxury industries including Telecom, Airlines, Luxury properties
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Medical Assistance Services
• Assess all medically related calls received from client/s.
• Give advice to callers, relatives, employers, insurance companies and other clients.
• Organize and supervise appropriate medical assistance for SOS clients. This includes obtaining medical reports, organizing referrals, monitoring the patient’s conditions, recommending appropriate means of medivac, and monitoring the progress of a medical transport.
• Coordinate with the International SOS Assistance Centres and Coordinating Doctors the procedures required and preparation of patients to facilitate evacuation.
• Provide medical referral information on hospitals, physicians, and specialists in Viet Nam.
2. Promotion of Aspire Services
• To participate, under the direction of the Head of Aspire and in consultation with the S&M Manager, in appropriate social and professional activities in Vietnam which can make Aspire services better known and appreciated.
• To assist in explaining Aspire health consultant services (where possible) to prospective and existing clients to support with renewals upon request from the Marketing Department.
3. Healthcare activities for Aspire programs
• In coordination with S&M Department, conduct regular health seminars, doctor talks, doctor streamlines, health campaigns and other health activities required for Aspire existing client programs and potential prospects.
• Assist Marketing Department when required to write health tips, medical advice and contents for clients’ health collaterals.
• Coordinate with S&M Manager and International SOS Centers if involved to design the contents for health check programs, healthcare campaigns, medical trips as a part of Aspire bundled service offerings
• Participate in the Aspire Corporate effort to define, prepare, write and formalize training manuals, training and orientation, education programmes for Aspire clients, Aspire Service Delivery Manager and Aspire Consultants when required
4. Quality Assurance and Administration
• Liaise with the GMS operations and management to optimize quality assurance and ensure that appropriate medical outcomes are consistently attained with respect to the provision of consultation services.
• Take responsibility for quality of medical service delivery as per International SOS guidelines and standards.
• Ensure that patient’s medical files and documentation are maintained to highest standards and in accordance with International SOS guidelines.
• Ensures call and case quality compliance.
5. Advisory Services
• Provide medical advisory service to insurance clients and claims and underwriting issues
• Assisting the provision of Aspire Occupational Health advisory services to Aspire clients when required.
Other Duties
• Works within and promote all Aspire’s policies, procedures and corporate values.
• Is aware of Aspire policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of these important areas of our business.
• Undertakes project work and other reasonable duties as requested by the Aspire Service Delivery Manager
Working Schedule
• Aspire Consultant Doctor will sit 50% of working hours in Aspire office to do given Aspire project related tasks. She will use an assigned laptop and work mostly with Aspire S&M team.
• For 50% of working hours, Consultant Doctor will work under the CD roster as scheduled and approved with Head of Aspire and Chief Medical Director. As a CD, the Consultant Doctor will prioritise handling cases/calls from Aspire medical programs (including Prudential, Chubb, AIA…) and Enhancement clients. When not involved in Aspire clients programs, she will support Intl.SOS to handle medical cases from SOS Corporate clients.
Reporting lines
• For Aspire related activities (doctor talks, seminars, presentations, products, client marketing activities….), Consultant Doctor will report functionally and administratively to the Head of Aspire.
• For medical cases, Consultant Doctor will report functionally to Chief Medical Director and administratively to Head of Aspire.

Required Work Experience
• International Medical experience with at least 5 years of working experience; preferably in the service industry.
• Background in Medical with minimum of 5 years in the healthcare service environment.
Travel Requirements
• Travel occassionally to Hanoi and some other cities (Da Nang, Ca Mau, Can Tho…) for doctor talks and other activities for Aspire client programs

• Good oral and written English language skills
