Construction Site Manager (Temporary)

Design development:
• To work closely with architects, project managers and related staff to support the development of design in all stages for a project;
• To review designs by consultants;
• To estimate and review cost submitted by consultants, suppliers, contractors;

Construction management:
Manage and supervise the construction focusing on: quality, schedule, cost, safety and environment - in accordance to the approved budget, design, specifications and schedule/ plan.
• Lead in all areas of on-site construction management including planning, organizing, scheduling and supervising construction work or the Project, including but not limit to:
- Review technical drawings/ shop drawing to ensure their compatibility for construction implementation;
- Review and comment on construction costing through detailed BOQ;
- Manage the construction schedule and plan;
- Maintain quality and safety control procedures;
- Supervise the work and coordination of contractors and suppliers on site;
- Check and prepare site reports, technical designs and drawings;
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site;
- Confer with supervisory personnel, board of management, contractors, and consultants to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures and construction problems.
• Assist Head of Project Management Board to keep track and report on construction budget control.
• Review and comment on contractual agreements with consultants, suppliers and contractors when required.
• Coordinate with contractors / suppliers and monitor the process of their works to ensure the successful and timely completion of the company’s projects to ensure the quality of the construction are met and the project development abided within the allocated budget.
• Report and communicate promptly to Head of Project Management, Project Leader and Board of Management on construction progress or any matters.

- Background: University degree in Structural engineering;
- Working experience: 7-10 years in relevant construction / design industry;
- Renovation Experience
