Computer Vision Engineer

The Computer Vision Engineer will work closely with a team of software and mechanical engineers to develop and test computer vision software that interfaces with robots and other automation equipment and performs robustly in a different and challenging environments. While this role is intended for those interested in working on classical machine vision applications, there are opportunities to work at the intersection of computer vision and deep learning as well.
We are looking for both experienced and entry level applicants.

Experienced CV Engineer:
• Extensive experience in C, C++, Python, or other language.
• Experience working with computer vision frameworks such as OpenCV and related. algorithms on embedded platform.
• Understanding of data structures and best coding practices.
• Experience about TensorFlow or other machine learning or neural network systems.
• Idea generation and execution, mostly unsupervised.
• Hands-on aptitude, strong debugging and system analysis skills.
• Desire to work in an incredibly fast paced environment.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, IT, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar relevant to the position. Extensive experience can compensate for missing education.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with stereo vision systems and sensor fusion.
• Expert in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with OpenCL.
• Experience building multi-threaded and/or real-time systems.
• Experience writing production code and contributing to large production code bases.
• Knowledge of classical robotics theory and coordinate transformations.
• Good understanding of communication protocols, networks, servers (TCP/IP, CAN, Modbus).
• Experience with databases: SQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with deep learning algorithms and techniques is also a plus.
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux operating systems.

Entry level CV Engineer:
• Extensive experience in C.
• Experienced in C++ and Python.
• Experience working with computer vision frameworks such as OpenCV and related. Algorithms.
• Hands-on aptitude, good debugging and system analysis skills.
