Compliance Assistant

***JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Setting international requirements for the factory following buyer ‘s requirement.
- Establish SOPs for compliance and evaluate processes.
- Has ability to check and adjust the documents in case there is a problem.
- To assist in establishing and implementing a compliance review system to ensure business activities are aligned with local laws and regulations.
- To ensure that the Company follows relevant laws, regulations and business rules.
- To assist the review of other legal documents for compliance with laws and regulations.
- Advise or handle all departments on legal questions and issues, including drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiation of all legal documents.
- Conduct Human Rights, Quality System, CTPAT and social audit to the factories and make sure they've been in accordance with evaluation policy, submit the daily audit report, audit summary, Location Map etc. at current date.
- Tracking corrections process with vendors and factories after audit, educate and help factories/vendors to understand the compliance requirements, following up them to make the actual corrections as per audit report.
- Attend audit cases from customers, and 3rd parties or internal audit.
- Update data base as requested daily.

***Have knowledge of:
 BSCI, social compliance and Ethical audit.
 QMS, FQA and ISO 9001 audit
 ISO 14001, EMS audit
 Audit requirements for US market
 Know well local law
 Understand and updated requirements of international markets
 CTPAT security audit
 FSC, EUTR 995/2010, Lacey act…….
 Knowledge of furniture industry
 Can guide factories to write and implement all above requirements.

- Bachelor degree in Law with minimum 3 years of experience in legal/compliance work at manufacturing company or law agency
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- High work standard and integrity
- Ability to manage own time judiciously and deal effectively with the competing interests of several different individuals/departments
- Willing to travel frequently
- Excellent communication skills
- Honest, high sense of responsibility, good English skill in reading, speaking and writing, can make detail audit report in English well.
- With PC knowledge, being familiar with Microsoft office
- Male preferable.
