Communication Specialist/ Project Coordinator (Work in Hanoi with Travels to Quang Ninh)

(I) Description:
The job roles are (1) to assist the Chief Representative, Country Director and other senior leaders in the management of the project; (2) Take lead in the communication to enhance company reputation among stakeholders; (3) Support the implementation of stakeholder management initiatives (CSR programs and community engagement); (4) responsible for sustainability initiative of the company.

(II) Key Responsibilities:
Communications
- To develop communications plan in cooperation with other team members
- To develop press release and other communications materials (news, bulletin, etc.,), including materials in digital formats i.e. slide presentations
- To be the administrator for the company’s website and other social media channels
- To implement internal branding standards and quality assurance of communication and promotional materials in term of branding
- To coordinate and supervise media agent (outsource) and other service providers (in developing communication materials and promotional items)
- To perform coordinating role in organizing and coordinating the company’s key events
- To review out-going documents (drafting, editing, proofreading and translating) and project documents
- Media networking and cooperation

Project Coordination
- To be responsible for the project coordination, liaising with partners and various state and statutory agencies
- To perform the coordinating role in preparing the applications and following up the project and corporate permits and licenses
- To develop the periodical reports relating to the projects as required by the project owners and local authorities
- To be responsible for sustainability initiative of the company: coordinating role in development of sustainability report, participate in sustainability events and update the management with current trend

Other supports
- To participate in the implementation of stakeholder management initiatives
- To provide executive administrative support with translation, interpretation, meetings and visit arrangement for the Chief Representative, Country Director, and other senior leaders
- To perform duties of the Members’ Council Executive Secretary in all corporate affairs (meetings, resolutions, communications ....)
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned on by the management

(III) Job Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
1. Qualifications:
- Minimum a University degree or equivalent preferably in communications or related field. Master’s Degree is an asset

2. Professional experiences
- At least five years of professional work experience in communication either in a communication department of a multinational company or in a PR/Communication agency
- Knowledge and experience in areas such as Corporate Communication, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability
- At least 2 years of work experience in project coordination, including also translation and interpretation, preferably in energy sector

3. Skills and knowledge
- Strong language skills in Vietnamese, English
- Very good computer skills: power point, graphics, media tools...
- A mature person who is discreet, pleasant, support minded, energetic and enthusiastic
- Good knowledge, experience and skills in coordination and public relations in multi-culture environment
- Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
